On March 17, 2018, Mr Dominic Newbould*, representative of EV Trust, awarded scholarships to ten students with excellent academic performance of Lam Sơn High School for the Gifted.

This was among many activities to nurture talented students EV Trust had implemented in this month.

There were ten students who had achieved exemplary academic grades and demonstrated outstanding community engagement and leadership potential.

At the event, Mr Dominic Newbould shared his experience on education, and said he hoped to bring qualified English training programmes to Vietnamese teachers and students through the model of EV classes in the future.

On behalf of Lam Sơn High School for the Gifted, the school's principal, Chu Anh Tuấn, thanked Mr Dominic and EV Trust for creating favourable conditions for talented students.

*Dominic Newbould is Member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, volunteer co-ordinator of EV Trust Vietnam. He is now working as a strategic advisor in the field of international education co-operation. He has been collaborating with prestigious educational organizations such as the British Council, the European Commission, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
